It sounds like you really could get this where you need it to be if you sold your bike yourself. The dealership can only take a trade if they can make money on it. Sell it yourself. Get the best price for yours and you won't have any second thoughts about the upgrade. In the meantime, you've already got a great bike. Good luck!
