Day 8 - Fri

Unfortunately we awoke to some tragic news after last night's practice session;

Robert Dunlop had been the most successful rider to have ever competed at the race - a tragedy.

Coincidentally I had planned to visit his hometown city hall where the town which had staged an exhibiton hounouring it's famous brothers. The atmosphere was of complete shock and words really can't describe the overhwelming sense of loss of not only a great rider but father and ambassador for our sport and country in general - Robert we salute you.
