I remember buying Emgo stuff when I was snowmobiling......

Never knew they made GSXR mirrors.....

Yeah, they make the good ones.
Gsxr mirrors, the old standard ones(wiithout built-in turn signals) that were on alot of Gsxr's also came in 2 stalk lengths.
Most I see, and what I ordered , are supposed to be the longer 3 1/2" version...we'll see.
The last time I bought Emgo Gsxr mirrors was from Pashnit, when he had his huge online store, and I put them on my Gen2.

I was lucky because I had a set of OEM GSXR mirrors in my tickle trunk for some strange reason as I thought I had gotten rid of all that extra stuff....

I bent and drilled a small bracket to mount my Dealer-Mode switch(Boost-by-Smith), then remembered that I needed a plate to mount the SpeedoHealer on too(which has just been temporarily zip-tied under the tach).
So I drilled and tapped an M8x1.25 hole in the headlight bracket, and made a mock-up mounting bracket out of cardboard.
I had a small sheet of .050" aluminum, measured and marked it, took it to my Dad's and used his bandsaw to cut it out.
I smoothed the edges, bent it in the vice and by hand, and it fit well.
I drilled a hole in it for the Dealer-Mode switch, and super-glued a piece of velcro to it for the SpeedoHealer(they mount by velcro).
I wanted the SpeedoHealer easy to access, as I have a -1 front sprocket on it, and a stock front sprocket, and currently have a 200/55/17 rear tire on it(190/50t17 is stock).
Pretty basic, but I'm happy with how it turned out.

They just provide you with the bare minimum, lol
I still remember the dash on my old '85, there sure wasn't much to that one...it was mounted on a dense foam backing....

My race bike had a tach and idiot lights and that was it....

Those bikes were all about weight reduction....and they were light.

Yeah, but I liked how basic they were too

I filled the radiator with distilled water and vinegar...and I still have no leaks, lol, thank You God...but it's still in the 20's outside.
I may back it out of the door tomorrow and run it/flush it, then put in the Engine-Ice.
I need to wire up the Brembo master-cylinder's brake light switch to the stock harness too.
And shorten a few bolts on the muffler mount.
Plus a few other small things...but it's getting closer.
I'm trying to get it ready to test ride whenever the snow melts and the yard dries...but that might be a while, lol

The SRADs were pretty cool too......the TLR reminded me of them.....

I do like the yellow version of the GSXR a little better than the yellow TLR though

Yeah, I've never been a fan of the yellow TLR's, or the red.
All their blue variations look good, and I do like the later black frames.
I wish the U.S. would've gotten the black TLR though.
I remember when those SRAD 600 and 750's where everywhere here.
I think they are one of the best Gsxr body styles, with the original Gsxr1000 closely resembling them.
I do miss the metal tank mount windshield braces too, and the zx7 and zx9 had them as well, they were a pretty good styling que of the early to late 90's

I saw a black one for sale on a buy ad sell site not long ago, it's not on there now but I figure that's because of the season....

Before that, I had never seen a black one before.....it looked very good....

This is my Gsxr progress so far today, shortening all the bolts around the pegs, and muffler mounts.

I don't know if Canada got them or if those were aftermarket fairings, as I know the black was a last year Euro model
