Hi. I love the 3 spoke wheels best my self.
Hi. I can not say but if it was set up for 1/4 mile drag racing the motor would be a 5 sec bike. With a 21 inch over swinharm 3/4 inch set back trees. No matter what this bike would not be legal for XDS racing as turbo to big and 2nd power added the NOS. I have said if it does not make 1000 HP on VP+ M1 I will sue Turco 50/50 mix meth and nitro or 98% nitro!.

I tried the S23s and like them very much so far. I find them grippy and like the S22s I just take comfort in having a matched front and rear. Especially if I keep the cold pressure lower. I don't however like how the Hayabusa always fries the rear while the front has plenty of tread left, so I'm going to try to match the wear by keeping the rear around 35/36 cold, and the front 32/33 PSI cold. I should get a little more wear than the S22s, so I'm hoping for maybe 4000 miles out of them. That low pressure costs me mileage but I'm mostly in the twisties and I love the almost limitless grip.

As I keep the traction control on the lowest setting out of 10 but it still works full time and flawlessly, I've gotten used to the nuclear torque thrust out of each curve. So I decided to stick with the stock 190/50 on the rear. Lighter weight / unsprung mass, doesn't make the gearing taller (in fact I'm plus one on the rear sprocket), and a flatter curve so more surface area under acceleration. With raising links I LOVE how it handles.

Nothing new on any high hp bike busa is not an exception, rule of thumb for me 2 rear for 1 front.

The weight and torque of the Busa wears out rear sport tires about 2 to 1 to the front.
I started using a sport front tire and a sport touring rear tire on my Gen2, and they wore out at the same time.
I also used all of both tires and the rear tire showed no loss of grip either.
I usually got about 2500 miles per set, sometimes closer to 3k, sometimes less, around 2200-2300, but could only get about 1000-1500 out of a rear sport tire(tried many, but I prefer Dunlops, so it was a Q2 front and Roadsmart rear back then).
I kept my tires 36/36psi cold, and would drop them to 32-34 hot on good twisty roads.
Mileage was never a concern of mine either...but I do like that I get more mileage out of tires on 1000's, with alot less weight and torque.

I ride so little that I just change my tires out every other season.....mostly so I'm not riding on hardened rubber.....

Oddly enough, I found my Bandit wore rear tires out rapidly as well....more so than any of my GSXRs did and about on par with the Bumblebee....

It's almost worth having multiple rear rims and tires then switch them out for varied riding...a harder compound for sport touring and a soft compound for tearing up corners.....

............sigh........in a perfect world.........

Spare wheels would be nice, and not a bad idea, as you can sometimes find really good deals on them, but you would also need good rotors on them for a quick swap.
The Bandits are tire eaters too...heavy bastids.
My friend's '02 1200 is a really comfortable and torquey back road cruiser though, it's no Gsxr, but I really like it.

My latest set - I'll get about four months of riding out of these.
