Was getting my 08 serviced in Bangalore India when the dealer was delivering a yellow busa.... A curious cab driver pulls up gets out of the car and ask the owner in local language
"is the bike for rent, it's the same colour as my cab. We have matching vehicles."

I was roflmao

Yep, I got one and you would like to know? I already had the ABS re-call module replaced. This thing only weighs a pound or so, not 15lbs like Cycle World says it does. I'm getting a carbon fiber front fender later on and I do love the flashy high-viz color. I probably like the '08 orange/black best though.

I'm not a happy bunny I was involved in an accident tonight a guy in a mini pulled out and struck me and my bike down we both went , luckily I moved my leg before it was crushed.

I have a few questions someone could answer please

The Other party doesn't want to go through insurance just pay for the repairs and parts himself.

The bike needs a new RH fairing lower both parts as it's sI scraped badly (Are these now sold already painted ??
As i saw one on eBay in yellow with the sticker already applied

Can anyone answer this also is it better just to go through the insurance anyway as it was not my fault, I have an independent witness who agrees with me.

Im so pissed off but luckily undamaged :)

EFF THAT! Call the police and file a report. Have the witness file a witness statement at the police station. Get his information and file a claim. Otherwise you might end up having to fight this guy for every penny he promised. When someone doesnt want to go through insurance there is a reason and it's usually not a good one. Protect yourself please. Not speaking from personal experience. A friend of mine decided to not file a claim and ended up going to court. and by the way we are all glad you are unhurt.

+1

BINGO!!!

He's going to claim he was not at fault and you'll be lucky if you ever see him or his repair money again. File a report with the Police AND call his insurance ASAP. If you don't have a report and he doesn't admit fault you have no case. I hope you got a copy of his insurance card and info before leaving, that is if he even has insurance. If it's like certain people in my area, they pay for one month to get the proof of ID card and then cancel it immediately making them uninsured. :(

I'm glad you were able to move your leg in time- good reflexes! If this happens to me (God forbid) and I'm still able to write down the license plate; that's the first thing to do as soon as possible then call 911 after that, in that order! I had a freind that had a freind that while busy messing with the 911 call missed getting the license plate of the soccer mom that hit him because she drove off before he found out what here plate was :banghead: she's lucky the bike wouldn't start plus he didn't have frame sliders to protect the bike and it was leaking anti-freeze too. Bottom line you still don't know what all is wrong with you or the bike necessarily, always go through insurance and police report.

Could not agree more. That picture is a perfect example of what Suzuki should have done to break up the color more

Well it couldn't get any fkin worse !
I got my busa back from being repaired last Friday - Horrah , slight issue with the stickers on the fairing not being equal left to right but the repairers said they would replace them both again and all was well until this afternoon
Here in the UK we are having quite a wild, wet and windy day , I get a phone call from my partner to tell me she looked outside only to find the bike on its side FFS - RH mirror bust, RH foot peg, slightly scratched fairing and a crack in it too, scraped exhaust, scratched screen, fairing broken behind mirror mounting .

I wish I hadn't bought this new now it's so bloody upsetting !!

Happy Bloody Christmas everyone

make sure u go over the bike with a fine toothed comb.. take pics.. don't accept anything but perfection form the dealer..(hope its dealer??)

and push for some aftermarket freebies.. they screwed up.. they have to make it right...

good luck...:beerchug:

No powder coat for the Front rearsets, Gilles!
That and have the rearsets/passenger mounts powder coated black and that bike is PERFECT!

hey whats the deal with these 3 Yellow Busas? The only one ive seen is the same as mine i.e. All Yellow Tail End.
but i found 2 that have varying Black Tails. Were they different country release models? or models that didn't get produced?
I actually like the one with Black Indicator Curve Pieces, i may get some Black Rear Indicators for mine.

DaytonaYellow,....those were photoshopped by a few people when they first released the color info. Some people gave ideas of what they thought Suzuki "should" have done with the color.... ;)

Thought id try a set of Black 2013 Busa Rear Indicator Inserts to break up the 2013 Yellow Busa tail end. Not sure if i'll do the Front Indicator Inserts yet? Looks good like it is, only thing I'm not sure about is the GSX1300 sticker is in Silver, i think it needs to be White or Yellow, may go the a Sticker shop and get a custom one done.
