I was thinking about that too! And just the planning and designing of the application sequence must have been many man hours.
Did you know that when the plane hits the moving rail section, it does not stop until completion. If you noticed the perpendicular lines, those are the amount of time you have to get your particular job done. when the plane hits the end of the line, it is ready to fly, less paint, of course.
Boeing can put as many as 25 - 30 planes a month in the air using this system, pretty amazing.
