Gots new chain and sprockets

Last night I got my new chain and 17 front, 42 rear sprockets put on. It was late and I was tired, and need to break the chain in slow, but man you can tell that there is more pick-up than before. It is going to be awsome when I can realy get on it.

when i went 17 43 i did so many mods most of them all at once b4 riding. i forgot i went up 3. when i remembered i laughed

I was told that the chain will stretch and if you get on it taht you will cause it to stretch around the sprocket. After break-in, the chain will have been broken in enough so it will wear evenly.

I did try pushing a chain once :

I was told that the chain will stretch and if you get on it taht you will cause it to stretch around the sprocket. After break-in, the chain will have been broken in enough so it will wear evenly.

Just ride it...there is no such thing as a 'break in' period for a chain. It will stretch a bit in the first 500 miles or so...just re adjust it and enjoy your bike

Slack should be between .8"-1.2"...looser in WAY better than TOO tight
