i dont use a leaf blower, but I use an airgun. Its so I can get water out of those tight places where a towel wont.

I use the leafblower on the bike, and to get excess water off the car before I towel dry it. It's a bit excessive, but it'll keep you (since your a woman, you do the laundry) from having more towels to wash, so it aint a bad thing. : 16

I don't ride in wet weather and the K8 is practically new so all I've used so far is the Honda polish and a micro fiber towel.:cheerleader: Lots of the dealers that I sell tools at use leaf blowers on the customers bikes though.

If water hurt Busas mine would have died long ago :)

Yeah...+infinity on that one.

Ride mine daily and in florida
doesn't seem to hurt it

Although I do drop 100 bucks every now and then on zanio brother wax
and have a fairly large supply of microfiber towels.

Heard the leaf blower thing wasn't that good an idea...it's unfiltered air
and can suck in some rather abrasive particles and hurl them at a pretty good
speed directly at your paint.

We just moved but at our old house it had double french doors leading outside,
my significant other took it upon herself to clean out a space in the bedroom
opened up the french doors and in she came
Kinda nice to look over at anytime and see the busa sitting right there.
That's not obsessive is it ???

???

Washing the bike takes away from valuable riding time.

Too, one can take a lesson from one of the great Modern Western philosophers, Erik Estrada, who said...

I NEVER put water on my bike, Honda spray polish only ! I have been caught in the rain , but never wash the bike with water .

I wash it, dry it with a dryer that's made for drying dogs after baths. The motor in it heats the air before it comes out. Then I go ride it to evaporate anything near the engine that I can't get to.

I use the Jet Dry System after the wash. After the wash I jet down the road at high speeds and "BAM" when I get back home it's completely dry engine an all.

Havn't "hosed-er" down yet! normally goes as followed BEFORE EVERY ride;
WD40 clean wheels & chain area(sometimes swingarm area)
wipe bike down w/clean towel and water from spray bottle
then goes on on the secret ingredient(honda spray cleaner/wax)
then wipe complete bike down one last time w/another clean towel to remove all honda wax!
Last, but not least hit all the BLING area's with some mothers
So ya, i'm definitely NOT as obsessive as you guys are  :beerchug:

I usually wash mine at my work and then use compressed air and blow gun to dry it then use some plexus with a microfiber cloth to really make it shine.

I use to do this until I had an experience with a compressor that was blowing some oil by, spitting into a fine mist with the air.:unhappy:

Now, I dont want to take chances and use the leaf blower
