The more I read - the more I learn. So I didn't even know that Yoshimura made an map box. I have seen 2 entries that stated if you have a Yoshi pipe - get the Yoshi box.

I have the Powercommander PCIII. Do I need to get rid of it and get the Yoshi box? What's the difference really?

best i have found is to keep the pc3 if you think you will change exhaust laer on.
the yoshi box is designed for there exhaust, in theory will make the bike run better. you can ask tybalt he has done this.

The yosh box or EMS does the same thing as a power commander. The EMS can have accesories added on like shift light, electric shifter, multiple map switch, just like a power commander usb. Both systems add or remove fuel in 500 rpm increments and come with provisions to adjust for ignition timing. It all comes down to preference. I would go with a PCIII usb because it seems to be more popular and more tuners will have more experience with it. But once again they tune the same way.
