yet another HID question.

Ok I hope someone can help me with this, I'm sure I'm just over thinking it. I gave in and bought the DDM HID low beam kit. The first question is how do I get the protector off the base side of the bulb so I can install it? The next question is the setup seems to have a seal after the ballast before the bulb and power in wires is this used or just there for another application? I have not turn the bike apart yet as I like to see how its all going to work before hand so I don't get any surprises. Thanks for the help.

Why not high beam as well ?

All the wires are used and the clear protective cover for the bulb has to be broken to get it off.
Be careful there.

If you read all the way thru Blanca's thread, you'll see some pics I added that shows the entire light put together before install.

Cool thanks, I just wanted to be sure the plastic cover had to be broken or cut off and if the seal that's on the wires really went anywhere. I didn't think so but wanted to be sure.
