And Women, and Living Quarters, and there are what 30,000 Air Force Mechanics and Aviation techs with the same Credentials as all 1200 Marine Aviation techs? Sure there are great positions to be had in the Corps, but those positions are extremely scarce by comparison.
Marines look after their own though, like no other. Once a Marine always a Marine and that is something that does not really exist to the same extent as the other services.
Air Force all the way though, it's a little too casual but the Air Force is THE Air Wing of the American Military. It accounted for 80% or so of ordinance dropped in the 1st Gulf War I believe, And this with pilots still stationed at home frequently, Support crews playing Golf till their plane gets back... Chair Force? Hell Yeah, but without it, there is no Global Air power.
