Wire Size And Relay?

hi i am going to wire up a relay for switched accessory to a 6 way AUX fuse box.
can I use 16 gauge wire or should i use 14 gauge.

I would think 14 should do it but it depends on what the current draw is going to be. Also are you running one power to the fuse panel? If so I would run a heavier wire to power that.

What exactly is the wire being used for in this setup?
Is the wire being used to trigger the relay by means of ignition or are you using it to feed the relay from the battery and by extension your 6 way aux fuse panel?
