Will Gen 2 fromt seat fit Gen 3?

Title says it all. The frames are basically the same. Saddlemen aren't producing yet. They make Gen 2 front seats. Don't want to order unless it's going to work. Has anyone tried this yet?

They will not.
All 3 gens frames are basically the same, but the seats and gas tanks are where the ergonomic changes are.

I've pulled covers, cut grooves in the foam, and put the cover back on several bikes, and it really works.
My Drz is that way now.
You can put the piece of removed foam back if you don't like it too.
An electric kitchen carving knife works best on foam.
