Gen 2 mufflers fit on Gen 3?

Gen 2 mufflers fit on Gen 3? I see some. I see some new akros for a LOT of $ for the Gen 3. Wouldn’t a set from gen 2 for on a Gen 3? What’s the difference?

Def check.
The shifter pivot for the 3rd gen is behind the peg, 2nd is further forward.

3rd gen has 2 O2 bungs, 2nd has 1- will need Brock’s harness or drill/weld another bung.

Yea this is a difficult one to find. Right now you may need to just read through all of the exhaust information in the gen 3 forum to find it.

Just FYI for general searching, the forum software is in fact terrible. I always do this and it is superior: Pull up your favorite search engine, and enter this, which tells the search engine to search only this forum:

What did you have to do? I’m just baffled (pun intended) that these aren’t compatible between the generations.
