Does the Gen 2 full gasket kit fits Gen 3?

Do you know if the full gasket kit from Gen 2 fits Gen 3?

The dealerships codes are different.

Gen 3 full gasket kit comes from Japan and I have to wait 2 weeks

The Gen 2 kit is in stock and I can have it in 2 days.

Yes, I use gen2 gaskets with my Brocks alien head 2 system. Just need to use a flathead screw driver to pop out the gen3 gaskets.

i would say yes because the engine is entirely the same at gen 3 and 2

e.g. - cylinder and valve cover has since ´08 the same part-no´s

Also, when the I received my gen3 but everyone so was damn slow to test the pair block offs. I emailed Brocks and asked to test the fitmit. Which the gen2 blocks fit the gen3 perfectly. So if your down in the airbox area doing an exhaust and filter, I would also delete those tree hugging bastards.

Same with the cam cover gasket… that is Gen 2 OEM.

If it doesn’t fit, it will be ugly as the delivery dates for the OEM Gen 3 gasket kit are huge (3-4 weeks as they come from Japan).

I will come back here and let you know the good or bad news.
