I think of them buy the 10 because it's lighter, and thusly easier to ride fast in da' twisties.. plus it's a better looking bike may have somethign to do with it.

just curious what is the piece of wood holding your bike up for...I see the kickstand and it IS down.  Kawi must have a special now for 2x4's. buy crap and get some free wood(no pun intended)

In all seriousness though cool looking bikes. you may wanna raise the forks up a bit though.  kinda dangerous the way it sits.

ok an honest answer. They started crippling and "refining" the 12. The 10 makes nearly the same hp per weight ratio and is quicker, easier to find and easier to insure. 99% of the guys who own zx12 or Busas will never hit their speed potentials during their ownership. SO to brag you have the "ability" to go 15 mph faster is pretty pointless isn't it?

Makes sence, or it could be that he means the 12R and 10R sucks but no one is dumb enough to stock a 12R cause they dont sell.

I'd be real curious to see what happens to the underside of the front fairing and the front fender if this 10R ever hits the slightest bump as...in the picture it appears he's just slammed the forks up through the triple...which means the bike is still suspended with near zero travel available between the fairing and fender...the 2X4 sidestand is a nice touch as well.

the wood is there because a had to cut my kickstand shorter and go weld it back up and that was the day i was doing it.i dont have any problems with the forks. i ride my wife on the back and still no problem's.

Nothing wrong with the 10R, it's a fine bike, we have a few at work and they are interesting. I like what Kawi is doing with them. I prefer the 12R, but then I am more of a GT/Sport Touring kinda guy.

i love how you guys talk $hit because you have a busa.lol i bought the 10r to drag race.the busa is the better drag racing bike but i wanted something different so if a busa pulls up to me at a light i dont want to get smoked. if i dont win who cares its a busa it suppose to win but you guys would be surprise on how fast the zx is.i was going sell it this year and buy another busa but i decided to keep it. the busa i got now me and my buddy own.its in my name and stays at my house and i paid cash for it and sold it to him but its still mine until he pays it off from me.the zx10r i have i decided to put a 40hp nitrous in it and i bought a fast fi fuel mixture with it well that pour so much fuel in the motor that i had to go up to a 80-90hp jet.i didnt want to but i got use to it. i just bought cam and thin head gasket yesterday. the bike has a air shifter and is geared. i'm 29 year old been riding since i was 9-10 my first bike was a RM50 i had a cbr600f3 and a cbr900rr '99 before my busa and zx10r.i love to race bikes. i never been to the track yet but i do alot of street racing.trying to go to the track to see what the bike will run but i messed my back up and im just waiting for it to heal.
