Just wondering what everyone's opinions was on the 3g Nook from Barns and Noble or the 3g Kindle from Amazon which Target is selling also. Was thinking on getting my wife one for her birthday and was just wondering what you think is the best way to go. I know that you cant replace the battery in the Kindle if it goes bad so they say. And do you know of the best place to download free or cheap books for them.

Pre-ordered my wife the 3G Kindle for her birthday last month. She loves it and it's pretty convenient since she is in nursing school and Amazon has alot of her books online. Wife loved it.

Cool thanks for the info, Havent really been able to talk to anyone able the Kindle yet because they didnt have it in yet at Target and i really dont think the guy we talked new much at all about it, Went to Barnes and Noble and they was talking great about the Nook and bad about Kindle so am just trying to see what real world reviews are from some of people that are using them.

I personally like and enjoy my B&N Nook. It's very easy to use and extremely refined with a touch screan instead of all the buttons. They are both great...but i preferre the nook. Did i also mention that you get free chocolates by showing your nook at the B&N Cafe? Lots of free books with the nook. Many classics and starting to get the newer books that just went out of copyright. I am partial and this is a very short synop.

Wifey loves her Kindle...of course I got it when they were still full price, but the Nook was having release problems when I bought her Kindle. She uses it all the time.

Make sure to get an attachable light for bedtime reading.
