which bike to get

Now really.. which one do you think the people here are going to tell you to get?

If you do more long distance riding get the Busa. If you lean more towards track and twisties get the Gixxer 750.

Which ever route you go make sure you post up some pics.

Let's see, hmmmmm, BUSA

No kid, you're by yourself in your bedroom, and on the computer without your mother's permission again. And don't you forget Mother's Day. Now back to I'm buying a Busa thread.

alright so i get what u guys are saying...........but what about the high mileage on the busa?

Did u guys check all the mods the bike has.......what i want form u guys is...........
Is it worth the money considering the mods the year and the mileage........I dont wanna get this busa and then a couple of month down the line the motor starts to give trouble.

50 K no miles for a 2000. My 2005 is not yet 2 years old and has 30K! Busas are for riders, not for posers.

If that's the case why are you considering getting 1 of 2 bikes which are BOTH a decade old?

My advice to you in that situation is to use the $6,800 you have for the Busa and use it as a down payment on a BRAND NEW bike.

You can't put a price on piece of mind ... especially on 2 wheels ...

Ah - if I had seen this post first, I wouldn't have moved the other one... I will go back and delete that now, since you are getting the info that you are looking for...

Now, if you can go 6800, then I agree with Nightcrawler - why not go for a new bike? You may find a dealership with an 05 or 06 sitting around at a substantial discount... there are some good mods on that Busa and 30K miles is not an awful lot for a 2K; but as has been said, it is hard to put a value on piece of mind...
