Wheel stand for non paved drive?

I don't have a garage, nor is our driveway paved....but I do need a rear wheel stand for out door use.
Is there such thing as a wheel stand for non paved surfaces?
ie: fatter/softer wheels

With a traditional stand I can just see those dinky little hard wheels sinking into the gravel and not getting any leverage on the bar to raise the bike.

Nothing a 4X8 sheet of thick plywood couldn't handle

:thumbsup:Make it 3/4" treated and build a 2"x6" box frame under it on 16" centers then nail some vinyl siding starter strip around the top edge about a 1/2" high and leave a 16" gap on one of the 4' sides to ride your bike though, this keeps any loose bolts from rolling off in the dirt. Been there, done that- a local moving company may have a 3' wide, 8x6 enclosed plywood crate they might sell ya,a little rolled roofing and you've got a mini garage, just right for a 85'GS1150ES:whistle:

jack stands with 3/8 steel bar put thru the frame/swingarm pivot then jack it up...if you need more room for the jack drive over a 2X4 piece to raise rear wheel first
