What Model Radar Detector do you have..

I have a V1 mounted in the top compartment of my tank bag. The remote display sits on the dash and the audio is piped in through the auto com system. I would like to have the unit mounted in a better spot, but I like the stealth approach even if I loose the laser protection.
It's all about the arrows......

Anyone know if a dark tint windscreen, or the windscreen itself for that matter, would inhibit the radar detectors performance?
