I've already got over 18,000 miles on my 2000. Went ahead and got the chain and sprockets changed, but other than that and 4 sets of tires, several oil changes, and a fan replacement, the bike has been running like a champ!

Lets see;

1 guy has 79k
another has 73k
then another at 72k
another has 63k
and there's a bunch of us(myself included) in the 30 thousands.

And that's just the guys participating in the mileage challenge...

Sweet! Thanks. It's good to know that they are as tuff as they seem. I can't imagine many of the other inline 4 bikes lasting nearly as long.

Ok. This is my bike. That's not me. It's my wife's father. He's from Australia and wanted to impress all his friends back home. So I backed the bike out, put it up on the kick stand and he jumped on...lol.

2000
micron slipons
second look seats
second look windshield
fender eliminator (not a very good job imho, but you can't see it from this pic - the guy I bought it off of did it)
