What Kind of Bike is This???

I know the guy on it(he's in his 80's now) and was curious what it is? Looks like a 2 stroke single....the tank looks like a early Honda but I don't remember them ever making a 2 stroke and the front fender doesn't look Japanese....help me out.

I'm thinking they were welders gloves from the plant we worked in(General Motors Hydra-Matic Willow Run, Michigan). This guy hired in the plant in 1953 and I retired him in 2008 only because the plant was closing as part of the GM bancruptcy and restructuring.

looks like either BSA or Honda (dream maybe?) perhaps a Triumph but thinking more Honda Dream of some flavor. For relative comparison

Got me stumped. Really want to say it's a BSA, based on the tank and forks. The fender is not right for any BSA I know though, and the body is a bit short. Gonna need to do some diggin' for that one. Fender is right for a 60's Honda, but nothing else is

Yes it is...classic old 2-stroke. I grew up on 2-stroke streetbikes, still miss'em sometimes
