Need to change my oil but going for a valve adjustment next week.

Is there any reason one affects the other to change now or wait till after?

I assume all the oil in the valve area runs down and you don't loose much if
any oil. I buy Silkolene by the gallon and don't want to buy another $70ish
gallon to top off.

I also assume you wouldn't get any shavings/debre from the vavle adjustment
but either this or both (any oil loss) would make me wait to change the oil
till the adjustment is done.
Otherwise...I'll just change it today.

First valve adjustment for me...advice.

You shouldn't loose any oil with the valve adjustment.
Just in case you do get some dirt or debris (unlikely) in there from the adjustment, I would change it after, since they are both so close.
Especially if it is just the same either way.

Oh yeah...but on the other hand, I'm not only getting a valve adjustment
I'm getting my throttle bodies sync'd and a Dyno PCIII map.

A Dyno run can be fairly strenuous on an engine and fresh oil wouldn't hurt...
"old" oil is Amsoil sitting on 3000 miles.

So change now...or wait?

3K on Amsoil? should be just fine.. dyno time is no harder on the motor than riding it an in fact is probably easier on it.. (no sudden loading/unloading as in wheel spin etc)..

I would leave the stuff in it and just make sure it is full.. JMO...
