so while rewiring my bike
I went to reconnect my rectifier, three leads to the stator, no problem
good ground check
12v got it
check battery 11.6 start bike rev to about 4500 voltage no change ???
have to check it again but I think my problem may have been my rectifier the whole time? not sure how that is possible to ride as much as I have with no charging system?
Rick's offers a lithium specific regulator. anyone try one?

John, I am confused what I would need off there? a Mosfet rectifier and the related wiring?
Lithium specific . Tom thinks not nessasary, keep bike on the lithium charger at home

As far as heat and mounting location, if it were a big deal Suzuki wouldn't mount the new gsxr's rectifier on the side of the cylinder head.

Stopped at Rick's on way home to get a Lithium specific rectifier and wiring kit
got home and started to swap it
I wired the rectifier to the extra wire out of the top of the starter relay
I didn't realize the large out the top needs the small to get 12v to energize the relay to give the large wire 12v DOH
My rectifier was okay but the fact I am running a lith battery and this rect is supposed to be for them can't hurt
altho the voltage is lower for lith according to markings on the box
