Typical 1/4 mile times?

I ran at the dragstrip for the first time EVER. I had to watch how the lights worked before I tryed it. Ha! I ran 7 times with my totally stock Busa. My first was an 11.86. My last was an 11.10 at 130 mph, 1.91 at 60'. I loved it. Plenty of room for improvement.
What time can I expect from my bike? Whats realistic for an average to good rider?

Your weight has a LOT to do with it. In my case, with the bike completely stock (stock gearing, stock height, stock can, stock EVERYTHING), and me weighing about 215 lbs fully geared (195 normal) I ran a 10.18 @137-138mph(not sure) in very hot and humid weather (FL). I got those numbers after going to the track a few times, though.

If you can launch it hard, get those 60' times down in the low 1.6's, you'll run low 10's. This does take practice however, don't expect it your next time out. Oh yeah, don't flip the bike trying to launch it.....remember, baby steps.

Motorcyclist magazine lists the performance of the 2003 (stock) Busa as:

9.88 @ 143.9 (corrected)

Any truth to that?
