busa 1/4 mile times

I was just curious what is the best bone stock busa quarter mile time out there?I have seen in magazines times of 9.7 or 9.6.This is probably a dumb question but has anyone gone in to the eights with a stock busa?Thanks for the help.

I don't think anyone has done 8's on a stock busa. Keith Dennis a few months back did a best of 9.88 bone stock, strapped and geared he did a 9.43 I think it was. But I am thinking that for a street legal stock bike...thats plenty freakin quick in the quarter... Especially when I start rooting through a new issue of road and track and look at any of those performance figures... Kinda puts things back into perspective.

What do you consider STOCK?

?

If you consider all the bolt ons without going into the motor, I would say it has probably been done.

Now if you mean as it is shipped from the factory with the reflectors and all HELL NO! High 9's at best!
