1/4 mile times

With all ther new literbikes out,is the hayabusa still the fastest 1/4mile stock prouduction bike out there?

Far as I know. The guy who ripped the best 1/4 mile times for the zx-12 & Hayabusa hasn't run the ZX-10 officially yet, so who knows. According to hard published numbers, the 'Busa is still king.

your right, they need to put Shine on the 10. So far, published 1/4s for the zx10 are in the low 10s

It's one of those things... really want to see what times he pulls off.... but only as long as they aren't faster than then 'Busa's. Anyone can go faster on the top end for all I care... I just don't want to be shamed in the 1/4.

Yep torque is an amazing thing

I will ALWAYS give up a few top end ponies for more torque........even with 100 extra pounds or so...the Busa with all its torque is still King. Ahhhh....its good to be King...lol

I am in the process of pulling some juniper bushes from my front lawn this weekend. When I was in my garage with my friend contemplating on the best way to do it, we both looked at the hayabusa, turned to each other and smilled. 'nuf said

heh, well you'll always find someone out there that is faster, most are on busa's but ya never know.

If folks havent figured it out yet:
speed == money
fast == more money
quick==LOTS of money
fastest around == piles o cash

liter bikes were faster then me at the drag. i was going 133-135mph, but i wont tell what numbers i was putting up(they were bad!!!!)

busaman, you hit the nail on the head "faster than me." Most folks get caught up on some all-time best 1/4 time published, but the real "faster bike" is going to come down to the rider. There ain't much margin for human error (2/10s or so)... Yes it's the fastest, but even it someone came out with a time that beat it fractionally-- who cares? I for one, love it for a whole slew of factors, not just being the KING of SPEED

And for those that it does bother, theres always Velocity Racing to heal all wounds!
