TRE on or off for the 1/4 mile

I was wondering what was better for the 1/4 mile: To have Ivan's Smart TRE ON or OFF the bike when running the 1/4 mile?

I would THINK that it wouldn't make a difference because it would be with WOT, and NOT in 6th gear, but I someone said that it was better with the TRE off in another thread.
What do you guys think?

if your bike is tuned, leave it off....

otherwise, try it both ways!!

If its the smart TRE you can leave it on if it set to 4th gear for the first four gears not to 5th for all gears. In the past it has been found that the 5th gear map was to rich for gears 1-3 but the 4th gear map was best. The first TRE's were 5th gear only. Also if you can't ride it will slow down your 60fts cause it will now give you full power in first and if you can't keep it down you'll slow down.

what about on a 00 model with a pcII with a generic akro map from power commanders website with a full 4into1 muzzy system? should i still take the TRE off at the track?

I gained about 1.5 tenths without... same mph... simply is too rich for the lower gears.
