I have driven through it one time many years ago but never got to really explore the area. My brother, his wife and my GF hopped on a plane to check out what the city was all about and the general area. We flew in and rented a minivan (buahaha what a slow pos) for our adventures. As we arrived we could see that Las Vegas was very lively and had a lot to offer.

We stayed at the Venetian Hotel on the strip which was very reasonable at just over $100 a night. I figure with the pandemic rates are kept low to attract tourism.

Our room was very nice but the view was just of a wall LOL. The bathroom was very nice!

The lobby of the hotel was very nice! They sure keep these places clean!

On our first day there we decided to check out the Hoover Dam! I have seen it once before but the GF had not. It's quite an engineering feat. All I wanted to was grab my motorcycle and hit the local roads. Wish I could fit the busa in a pocket.

The next stop was to check out the grand canyon. Really beautiful weather and a bit chilly but definitely worth it. Thats us in the distance.

Breakfast at Grand Lux was amazing. The French Toast is soaked overnight!

Great pics! I rode to the Canyon via Vegas one year when you could ride across the dam itself. The bridge was still under construction. The Canyon is really something huh?
