Too hard on twisties-Scraped the fairing

I'm guessing you aren't using knee pucks. Because if you were, you could actually be going through the turn with as much lean angle and not scraping by off-setting the fulcrum with your body weight.

You are counter-steering, hense the scrapes.

i scrape the pucks instead... The hole idea of getting your arse off the seat and grinding the knee puck is to give less leaning angle to the bike...

I've never scraped the fairings and the stock cans are gone... I guess even with a full suit and knee dragging tough, on a track with very tight corners you would end up also scraping the lower panels, the Busa is very low. People who tried to race a Busa (road racing) know...

If you're riding twisties or the track I recommend raising the rear an inch and upping the preload at both ends for starters. Just my .02, partly based on experience.
