titanium rods

anybody know how much a set of titanium rods cost turbo app gen 2 cant get a clear answer..... maybe one of the sponsors can help with this one..... just inquiring fellows dont hit me with all those questions of why would u need them........

I understand why you would want it but that is a chunk of a thick plate to cut out the 4 rods...I'm sure a good machine shop could duplicate the rod in Ti...you might as well have them make a few sets for a spare set and sell a few to offset the cost. That would be a part for a edm to shape

Very expensive.

Titanium rods generally aren't the best idea for boost, anything over 1/4 mile racing you could be windowing the block.

Rob is correct, expect to pay $2600 for a set of Ti rods,

Just get a set of Wossner H beam and be done. I know turbo guys holding over 600 with those.

From titanium? They are a lot lighter, so that allows the engine to spin up faster, and rev higher due to less rotational mass. Pretty common in road race bikes, and big motor applications.

I'd take a heavy H beam rod over a titanium rod on a boosted engine any day.
