Looking for feedback from anyone who has had any experience with the titanium rods Crower offers in thier catalog. Im seriously considering buying a set but want to know what kind of performance and just how much quicker/higher the rev potential is/would be. I have a velocity stage two turbo kit and vented #3 piston so Im putting in JE turbo slugs removing the counter weight gear and getting the crank rebalanced and if Im replaceing the rods, Im curious if it would be worth spending the extra cash on them. Already putting ti piston pins and intake valves, retainers and locks in..ny and all input/opinions are welcome and appreciated. Thanks

don't do JE pistons then. If you've already done enough research to determine the benefits of tapered wall ti pins then you should also look into pistons as well. Ti rods do fall in line with all of the other ti bits you've added to help raise the red line. Careful with the Ti intakes since you're running a stage 2 turbo kit. Have you also looked at ceramic bearings? What about the cams. Anything done to them? Are ou have the crank lightened or knife edged counter weights?

Also, watch for heat issues. Ti doesn't like to get to crazy hot.

Go with Crower Standard Rods(good to 500),Spacer plate, leave gear for low end torque off boost, head studs, nuts and crank case stud kit, also have crank balanced & nitrided and go with CP Pistons with hd valve springs.I can provide all if needed..
