Im working on the price right know for the crank and i will throw the rod in for FREE! $700.00 NEW in BOX Retail is $916.00 give me a call it takes about a week.

Pulled the pan off to find it full of metal shavings.... some the size of "BB's"...  

Will yank the motor out in a few days.

Anyone got a crank and a stock rod they will part with?

That doesn't sound good. You better expect the worse on that deal (debree ran through the transmission, crank journal in cases damaged).

The last time I spun a bearing on my motor, I was able to find a low mile used bottom end for $600. That was basically everthing minus the cylinder block, head, valve cover, and clutch.

The crank and one rod were hosed.
Other than that, no other mechanical damage to speak of (excluding bearings).
We checked out the tranny... it looks solid.
Flushing everything real good... then putting it back together with a few new parts.
