A few questions you need to consider: you want grip or mileage? Straights or twisties? BOTH (will have to sacrifice one for the other though)

FWIW, I bought Pirelli Angels for $218 shipped (front and rear) and I am mostly on straight roads for commute and occasional twisties on weekends. AVON STORMS also has good feedback from many riders here.

thanks for the reply i'll check out the links, ideally id like to get a little of both worlds. I'm not a track person but am pretty aggressive on my bike with twisties, if i had to choose id say i do more straight road riding though..

I have found some sweet deals at: JCmotors.com

I have Bridgestones on my busa, BT016 front and BT023 rear. Works well for me!

Almost in the same boat as you are except I am MELLOW in the twisties. After much reading, I narrowed my choices down to: MICHELIN Pilot Road 2; PIRELLI Angels and AVON Storms. Was able to get the ANGELS for the cheapest price shipped.
