The route goes from Estacada to Detroit Lake, but we encountered too much snow and debris at higher elevation, so we turned back.

it is a sweet route. I had ridden it a couple of times, but had a passenger. I didn't really appreciate how cool it is till George took me back there.

Speaking of cool rides, I need directions for Klikitat ride.

The message was for Havoc.

Its in WA, out toward the Dalles. Gonna put it on the calendar. You NEED to go on that one with us. Maybe we can hook up with Cache again.

Take a look:

I gotta get me a street tire for the rear be4 I can hit any of that stuff!

Klickitat run is just below where I live now. It and my road are both awesome....
maybe you can do one up the mountain, and the other back down.. I would suggest Klickitat run back down, my road is really twisty, and not as fun going down as it is up. the Klickitat one is more level and easier to go down.

Great pics guys. I know you all had a blast. Maybe one day I can do something like that. We do have some roads like that here in Louisiana...as if you can believe that. We have about an hours ride to get to roads like that but when you finally get there, the roads are just as twisty and nice as any place I've seen. Got a good taste of them in February during Mardi Gras. We had some straights where we would get up to about 160mph, and some huge sweepers at around 75mph. I was more of the straight-line type of guy for the longest, but man it's great to experience the best of both worlds.
