The best there was...
The best there is...
And the best there ever WILL be..

There is only one...
Big Dr, is that really all you drink? I love a nice glass of Guinness but its not the strongest beer around.

What other beers do you guys drink?
It's not a strength issue...We have some micro brewery pubs where you can drink what they brew in house...Some of their brews would blow your nut off..

As for Guinness..It doesn't travel well..Sorry to say but the only place to drink it is in Ireland...Even in England which is only a few hundred miles away it tastes like horse p*ss..(apparently)

Back to the issue at hand..It's an aquired taste and most Guinness drinkers don't drink anything else..

We do have a huge range of beers here..Heineken..Calsberg..Bud..MillerDraught ciders etc etc

But it's still the daddy..

Having Guinness in other countries is ok. You must buy only the type brewed in Ireland thou. Some pubs abroad will sell you a bottle of Guinness that was brewed practically in yer back yard. Yes, its been brewed "Under Licence" from Guinness, but doesn't even come close. The Guinness here is brewed by Labbatts of Canada. Tastes like krap. However a tin of draught Guinness brewed in Ireland and imported here is awesome.

you could be outa that stuff soon. Both Coke and Pepsi annouced declining sales for the first time last year. They only sold like 48 billion bottles, instead of their usual 49.2 billion bottles. You guys better go buy some b4 the stock holders and CEO's get nervous...

Pesonally myself, dont care if all the pop companies go outa bisuness.

except coke = rum an' coke
" ginger ale = rye an' ginger

Ones too avoid.
1. Tusker: A wild and vile concoction from Africa. Can't bag it too much kept me going for 6 months when there was nothing else around.
LOL, +1 on the Tusker! I believe thats that only beer you can buy in Kenya. Was there twice on R&R from Somalia. It was cold, thats the only thing good I can say about it!

Mississippi Mud Black & Tan

Have not had it in awhile but loved it came in some nifty bottles to.  Use to buy it at Hy-Vee back in Iowa and can't seem to find it anymore.  Though I hear rumours it still exists, mmmm how I miss Mississippi Mud
Let me look around, I'm not sure I've seen any lately. If I find some, I may have to get some out to you!

That's where I had it. R&R from Rwanda. I got hosed but, mine was just above room temp if I remember correctly. and it was crap. Did manage to pick up a Tusker t-shirt though.
