Well, let me break this down.

The post in short says, if we can't have god in our government, which we all know requires civilians to function, then the government should make these civilians work on their religious holidays in order to keep their jobs.

Instead of our government recognizing peoples religions and beliefs it would be suppressing them. This is no longer separation of the church and state, it's oppression.

So yes, it is taking one thing 'separation of church and state' and blowing it out of proportion and into a 'well they may just as well do this' type of argument, turning it into something much worse than what it REALLY is.
