just this morning. Cop ran right through the red light to turn right and pulled out in front of me. Got up beside him, looked at him and passed. Not speeding by the way. He gets in behind me and blue lights me. He says "why did you just look at me and then pass me? I said cause "I got big NUTZ! The I asked him why he ran that red light. He of course denied it. My friend in the car witnessed it too. He wrote me a warning ticket for 33 in a 30. What a douche nozzle! Ticket was wadded up and flying out the window before he got back in his car.

My last speeding ticket was in 1990...MC cop wrote me for 55 in a 50.

My last near-miss was going over the San Mateo bridge, following a lincoln continental mob car @ 85. Cop pulled up behind me, switched lane right, passed me, cut me off and lit up the lincoln.
I guess green 1200 Bandits don't look like they go fast.

BTW, It's going up for sale soon, since I got my Busa now. 66k miles w/ zero tickets and zero pullovers.

Two summers ago on my 79 CBX in SE Oregon almost at the Nevada border. This was before my Valentine One and the sheriff's deputy said I was "ringing the bell at 87 mph" (in a 55 zone). The heavy rains began, which I was trying to outrun to get to shelter at the border, and he let me go with a warning. OHP never would have done that!

In 12 years of driving & riding, Never got a ticket ina car! I have received four in the last four years.....all on bikes......one was a Exhibitionest speed for a 1" wheelie...had a hot bike and dropped the ol'elbow a bit too fast =)..."i swear i wasnt even trying to pull it up".....Last one was for 85 in a 65 at night on the 210 FWY going home 2 days befor x-mas with my joe rocket jacket stuffed with last minute gifts.....I only got on the fwy from one exit to the next to shorten my trip because it was cold out.....In court the Chipper said he noticed me weaving in and out of traffic which is pretty damn IMPOSSIBLE since i didnt leave the number 4 lane in the whole 2 mi stretch untill i saw two head lights barreling down on me on my 6 o'clock.....i was doing between 65 and 70 maybe even slower cause it was cold out...i had a vehical at my 12 and one at my 9/8 but i was waiting cause my exit was commin so i didnt wanna pass like a jerk but then the head lights at my 6 were gettin brighter at a scary ass rate....being xmas time theres bound to be more drunks out with all the xmas parties and everything and this was on my mind earlier that day when i witnessed a drived that had to be under the influence of SOMETHING as he almost cut his beamer in half on a center divider...ne ways, moving right along....at this point im living in my rear view mirrors cause these lights are closing in as i said earlier at a scary ass rate...at about three car lengths there was no change in speed on those 6 o'clock head lights i saw some "daylight" when the car on my 9 fell back to my 8 giving me some passing room, i made the decision to not get plowed into and passed the car in front of me and immediately exited the fwy which i was plannning on doing anyway. At the bottom of the off ramp i look back and u guessed it...rapidly approaching head lights with the same mis-adjusted right side beam......by now im thinkin this guy wants to kill me or he knows me. At around 2 car lengths he stomps on his brakes i see the ligthts dip hard and yup...two red cherries come on....im thinking to myself this isnt freaking happening! He yelled at me over the loud speaker for about a min saying to pull off the fwy all the way! After i got my helmet off and he approcahed me he went on about how my blue windscreen was for OFF-ROAD USE ONLY and illeagal and how he was "letting me off" by not giving me a fix-it ticket along with the speeding ticket i was already getting. I mean come on guys u know all those AMA Supercross guys running BLUE GSXR WINDSCREENS!!!!! He even went as far as to tap my wind screen and tank with the Butte of his metal mag light...at this point i politely asked him to not touch my bike with his flash light which started a whole new yelling session of him pointing into traffic asking me if i saw any other cars with "blue windsheilds"..I would not say another word to him throughout the whole confrontation..He kept his hands off my bike and continued to yell a little longer, wrote me my ticket and i rode home STEAMED LIKE A FREGGIN FREIGHT TRAIN! I called the watch commander IMEADIATELY after walking in the door and cracked a beer and i dont drink hardley ever, esp on a weekday but i was that mad.....I wrote a letter to the watch commander after talking to her for about 30 min and asked her to pass it onto him....i didnt care about the ticket anymore it was beyond that. He put my life in danger with his insane driving while not having his emergency lights on. It was a rackless car and dark out so i did not know he was a cop until he turned on the cherries on the off-ramp as he was slowing at a rate so fast i saw the headlights dip. He put me in a position where i had to make evasive manuvers to keep a Crown Victoria from going up my a$$. He was young and hopefully will learn to conduct himself in a respectable manor while representing the CHP and himself. Hell maybe he will even learn to control his patrol car in a manor which will not put others lives in danger. I went to court on this cause i was so miffed over it. I didnt even go to win, i simply wanted others to know what this officer had done to me and possibly would continue to do to others. Unfortunitley i accepted to have the case heard by a judge pro temp which in my opinion is the equivelent to just signing your rights over and pleading guilty. He went up there and did the i just had my car paced at so and so, so the speedometer is accurate which didnt matter cause he never freaking paced me and the ticket says so! He lied his ass off and said i was driving dangerously and he first noticed me weaving in and out of traffic when the only time i got out of the number four lane was to avoid him from analy violating me with his patrol car! I tried to tell the judge what really happened but unfortunitley since i am 26, a biker, and have earings she cut me off and told me i was guilty. i dont really know if it was the way i looked or my age but it just didnt seem right, to me or others in the court room that day. I watched a case before me where the judge pro-temp practicly forced a woman who didnt speak english to plead guilty telling her it was in her best interest making it seem like it was the only thing to do after the woman had said NO 4 separate times that she had not done what she was being accused of, the woman was not offered an interpreter and just told to plead guilty "say yes". This is the San fernando Traffic Court by the way. My whole approach to riding now is dont get tickets! Stay out of the system for it is NOT there to protect you! I ride with my cop buddies as to avoid tickets. It has become a monster which generates money for the state so they can take lavish vacations on Joe citizens Dime and limo rides from here to there. I have been left with such a sour taste in my mouth from each and every time i have had to deal with the police or legal system. Im not a habitual law breaker by any means, but in all my dealings with the police be it regarding me or someone else i know or things ive seen and i must say the bad farrrrr out weighs the good! This is my opinion and thats it! I have a lot of friends which range from police officers, sheriffs and city officials, Hell my dad even teaches most Burbank Cops how to fly when they get accepted to fly the police helicoptors, hes taught some LAPD guys as well, they are all good guys and i get a long great with them, but i guess i have been very unlucky when it comes to who pulls me over and so on.....I know theres good cops out there, unfortunitley i have never mey any while they were on-duty......

The summer of 04 was doing approximately 85 in a 65 on the old Bandito. Was late at night, deserted 2 lane in OK.

Cop came up and just started BSing with me. He said "that things pretty fast huh, nice looking bike". I said "yeah it'll go pretty good". He says "just slow it down a bit OK". I said "roger that and thanks."

I find most cops are really ok if you don't get lippy with them. They know we have to open her up sometimes and if you're not in a crowded area you'll probably just get a warning. But if you give em #### they will make it painful.

Professional courtesy at it's best.
+1
Allthough, being read the "you know better" "riot act" can be annoying.

About a year ago, Missouri State Police pulled me over on I-44 doing 82 in a 70. At the time I was passing an 18 wheeler and in Missouri they are well known for using stimulants and highway accidents. I told the officer I passed at a high rate of speed due to have several close calls with truckers. He ran my license, lucky for me I have never had a ticket in my life. Got a warning a was let go.

Lets see, I've had 3 run-ins so far.
First was about 10 years ago. I was driving to work at 6AM and got tagged by a bored cop in a podunk town for 60 in a 45. Guilty as charged, but I hadn't seen another car in the 30 minutes I had been on the road.

Second was 2 years ago. I opened up my Magna on a backroad with nobody else on it. Sure enough, a cop pops up from over a hill. Busted for 80 in a 55. Good thing he didn't come along a few seconds later or it would have been a lot worse.

Last one was 2 weeks ago. I was travelling on business and got a rental car without cruise control. Who rents cars without CRUISE CONTROL this day and age!?! Got tagged for 72 in a 65 but got let off with a warning.
