Three flatmates go out shopping in one shop they see a teapot for $30 so they put in $10 each and buy it, as they are going out of the shop the sales man comes over and says theres been a mistake and the teapot should have been $25 so he gives them $5 back so they take $1 back each and give the salesman $2 for being honest so now they have paid $9 each for the teapot and given the salesman $2. heres the thing 3x$9 = $27+$2=$29 where has the other $1 gone.
