Suzuki Tire and Wheel Warranty

All,
Going next week to pick up a new addition. A 2006 GSXR 750 w/2500 miles on it. It has an extended warranty and then a seperate tire and wheel warranty. Has anyone here bought that service? Used it? Since it's included in the bike price, which is from an individual, I want to make the best use of it!

from what I have seen here, Suzuki does not warranty much of anything..

a tire warranty would only cover road hazard would be my guess.. and then they prorate the thing against remaining tread ...

by the time you pay their price for tires, I bet it ends up costing more than a set of tires anywhere else..

So it wouldn't be any better that the road hazard from Cyclegear then? Doesn't sound like it would be worth even messing with. Anyone else actually use it?
