I am not certain but I think that there were some issues with the quality of the boost unlimited (stedmans kit) and that is why themotorhead didn't go that route on the newer ghetto kits. For the price, you can get the ghetto kit from themotorhead. It is a proven 270 HP with good future upgrade capability.

We bought a boost system from Stedman, nice looking good finish, good quality, complete ready to bolt up, 3,500.00. Stedman has answered every phone call, and has emailed back for all our questions. Very prompt I might add. Great tech support.

278 HP @10 psi fells great

No disagreement here about the quality of NLR. I just bought a NLR fuel rail from Schnitz and it is top notch itself.

I would personally only do business with TMH or NLR due to proven performance. The boost unlimited and chill factory kits out there are pretty new on the market and have yet to prove themselves.

TMH is that the motorhead? Also, do they have a website that I can look at the kits?

I am thinking about putting together a website with all the different turbo systems and feature by feature comparisons. Let me know if anyone is interested in helping? I am in the same position now, new 2004 busa, what turbo is best for price/performance.

I have this system. The system is fine aside from being a internal waste gate versus a external. Just dont have Jay or Ken install it. i did and my poop was set up as a dead head and lean like amotherfucker and making only 225 at 7psi. I took it to Dennis (TheMotorhead, suzukihayabusa.org) and he redid all my fuel lines, vaccum lines etc. Got the fuel right and mapped it to 280hp at 7 psi. The kit itself is fine. If I had to do it all over again I would get Motorheads kit.

THE MOTORHEAD RUNS SUZUKIHAYABUSA.ORG

CHECK OUT THE TURBO SECTION THERE. i THINK THE BASIC KIT IS $3599 AND IS CAPABLE OF 260HP WITH 8PSI ON PUMP GAS.

MANY MANY PICS ON THAT BOARD. JUST DO A SEARCH OR ASK AND YOU'LL COME UP WITH 10 THREADS WITH PICS OF THE KIT.
