This past friday me and the crew was out riding a doing some high speed runs, and topped the bikes out and the gps said 164 when the speedo says 185.

so i ordered a speedohealer and now it is dead on at 80 mph the gps says 80.1 and at 100 mph the gps read 100.5.

i am very happy with the turn out.

btw very easy to install and program

will be getting one soon!

Did you get the regular one or the one with the remote button? Where did you get yours?

Ordered mine direct from the company: <a href="http://www.speedohealer.com">SpeedoHealer<a> for about $100. Got the custom kit because I wasn't sure where I wanted it mounted. If you don't want a custom kit, I would recommend <a href="http://www.calsportbike.com/cgi-bin/store/index.cgi">CalSportsbike<a>.

Yes, the speedo-healer is a great mod. I needed one badly after switching to the 220 speedometer, and going 16/42. After install using the online calculator, my results were dead on like you describe.

Already got mine... I'll be installing it once I put in the 16/42 sprockets

got me speedohealer at http://www.sporttour.com/ service was excellent. ordered it on a tuesday and got it on weds. afternoon. $90 to my door.
i got the regular one and mounted it under the riders seat behind the battery.
nice spot and put some velcro on the back.

if u want to mount it under the passenger seat u will deffinetly want to get the custom. i normally always have my gps with me so i really didnt need the recall button. DEFFINETLY A GREAT EASY MOD.

How do you calculate it if you don't know how much your bike is off? I would like to order it but what is the deal with the remote button?

GPS or ride with a known accurate speedo to calibrate. Button is for max speed memory recall.

Is there no other ways to calculate it? I don't want to purchase a GPS just to find out how much my speedometer is off.

could always ask a local LEO to follow or radar you making some passes

Actually, there are a few posts around here how folks set things up, but you really wont know for sure til you have someone with GPS or accurate speedo pace you.

Go to SH's website and if it's not their it is explained in the directions alternative methods for timing that can get you pretty darn close compared to a GPS.
