Good luck, had my left shoulder put together by the Air Force about 10 years ago. They did a damn fine job, or at least as good as it can be.

Best advice is to take it slow, and be deadly serious with your rehab, it's really the key to having a healthy limb again.

I was on the table for 5 hours, they did god know what but I know Slap, bankhart? And some other stuff was the issue.

Down side, I lost feeling on the underside of my arm from shoulder to wrist, and the outside of my palm, and smaller two fingers have diminished sensitivity to pressure and touch. Otherwise, it's been good to go. But hard work in rehab makes all the difference.

I've been in rehab/recovery for the last 11 months...had a AC separation repaired and then the rotator cuff repaired also. First one was done in 10/08 and the 2nd on 5/09. It's a lot better now

So you all remember the first few weeks after surgery of just hanging and swinging your arm?

Damn that hurt... Just swinging it around slowly a few inches while it's just hanging...

For my first one I wore a sling 24/7 for two months :banghead:

teamorion22 is right....

Have a speedy recovery! Be sure to listen to the rehab specialists and do all the silly rubberband exersizes and what-not that they tell you to. They might seem silly but they will help keep you from re-injuring yourself.
