Should I use a power commander?

I have a 1 gen busa with a muzzy oval carbon fibre exhaust system. Should I get a power commander? The thing is I live on a island where they don't have a dyno. So is it possible that I can download a map from the map and load it and it will be just as effective?

It won't really hurt anything but would ride far better with a PC. You can download a map from PC that should get you pretty satisfied, dyno tuning is for wringing that last bit out of your particular bike.

In my experience, a power commander always makes it run better. I have one on every bike I own. You can get different maps free at PC
