Power Commander 3 Download ??????

Here is my ?????? I bought a used power commander 3 for my 06 hayabusa. To download a map to the power commander do I simply download the map from the site ,plug in the usb in the side and with the 9 volt battery plugged in and does it take or is there more to it?
