Yep, $7,200 way too much for an almost 5 year old ZX-10...the 04' model was a beast though. After that the 10's were rated to have fallen off in performance until 08'.

You can do much better for $7,200. You can shop around and get a 05/06 gixxer for the same money! A very nice one at that.

Try to get an 05. From what I remember, Kawi updated the suspension and the fuel mapping because the 04s were really hard to ride. And 7200 does seem like a lot of money for a 4+ year-old bike.
