I've been wearing a Shark for 2 years now during the warmer season and I love it- once the temps start dropping though I don't wear it because the padding is thin and doesn't really keep your head warm. I love it for the summer months though.

I used a Shark RSR2 for the last two years. Just a week ago I purchased the Arai RX-7 Corsair.

I can testify without a shadow of doubt that the Shark is quieter. It was the second thought I had going down the road for the first time with my new Arai.

Of course the first thought was how much cooler and more ventilated my Arai felt!

You give; you take.

Whatever the helmet, be sure to use ear plugs. I have been using them for 2 months now, and feel undressed w/o my plugs. Any kind is better than none, but I like the soft, mouldable silicone deals under the name of Mack. No more tinitis for me; I don't leave home w/o my plugs!
