I always really liked the Andy Griffith show. That being said he was legendary for being a **** to his fans and staff. There was an episode where his hand was bandaged after breaking it. He broke it from punching a wall in a rage at someone on his staff and was often known to yell in tirades.

Dont get me wrong I dont mean to speak ill of the dead but just because the guy had a 'Im a nice guy' persona on his shows, does not mean it carried over in his life off the set.

I met the guy years ago and while he was OK with me I see him pull a real **** move to someone else. I wont get into it but it forever changed my opinion on the dude.

RIP Andy.....where ever you may be.

Was a great man and will be no other like him. He is a major loss to the ones he brought entertainment, laughter, and great life advice to.

They dont make shows like the Andy Griffith Show anymore.
