She hung out with some slime but she sure could sing.... An 80's icon for sure...

She could sing for awhile. She hasn't been a singer for awhile. She made her choices

I wish the best for her kids left behind.

RIP Ms. Houston. She had an incedible voice, but made questionable decisions. She will be missed.

And possibly my favorite song of hers, one of my favorite songs ever:

I always liked her in the movie "Bodyguard" with Kevin Cosner. She left 40 years too early.

RIP Whitney....

Was one of my wife's favorite artist's and was taken at same age on what would have been my wife's 50th b-day today. And knowing her she's probably getting a private concert tonight.

Sad indeed :( RIP

Remember hearing that that perfect squeaky clean teen sensation was just a Clive Davis make-over for commercial gloss. That deep down she was your regular ride or die chick from the hood so she and Bobby clicked. Still, wrong personal choices and it's sad. She had an amazing voice and God-given talent and it was sad to see her career derail due to her personal choices and issues. She remains one of my favorite singers. I still have her 1985 debut album on 12inch vinyl. Prayers to her family and loved ones for strength and peace :(
