Yes, stock damper will have some flop in it. Just make sure the bolts are tight and you are good.

If you are referring to the action of the damper itself, there should be NO slack when you push/pull the rod in and out. If you are referring to either of the two mounting bolts, there should be NO horizontal or vertical slack. However, the damper will rock back and forth in a rotational manner due to the ball joints on both mounts.

No i just noticed that the hole unit moves up&down a little bit while the bolt was tight
